Jesus said one aspect of “pure and undefiled” religion before God and the Father is to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction” (James 1:27)

No project fits this mandate any more than this years YWEA assignment. Political unrest has devastated Rwanda and Kenya and presented James 1:27 as a 21st century challenge.

In the wreckage of political chaos there is at least one “child of promise” that can change:

 

1. Their family
2. Their city
3. Their nation.

The task looks overwhelming but if we can find one child of promise, our commitment to you is two-fold:

1. To Look
2. Every dime you give will go to Rwanda and Kenya! Nothing will be kept for operation in the General Department of Youth and Christian Education.

We look forward to our partnership with you in fulfilling the mandate of scripture.
